About Hegemony
Hegemony was started in 2004 and was initially housed at 3till7.net/hegemony, 3till7.net being another domain of mine. It used the SimpleDir PHP directory-management script, which was pretty primitive in terms of its admin interface, mostly because it was written in straight PHP with no underlying frameworks.
I began a rewrite of Hegemony using the Ruby on Rails framework. Hegemony is created with Gvim and The GIMP on Ubuntu Linux. I've tested it in Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 6 at my hoss-sized resolution of 1680x1050, as well as at 800x600.
Rules for Listing Your Site
- Hateful, pornographic, or otherwise offensive sites will not be listed;
- I reserve the right to not list any site for any reason;
- I reserve the right to edit your listing at my discretion. Typically, this right will only be exercised if you've misspelled some obvious word, your categories or tags aren't applicable, etc;
- I must find your site attractive or useful in some way. This is a slightly elite listing: I'm looking for pretty layouts, valid code, interesting blogs, good spelling, unique tutorials or services, creativity, that sort of thing.
